Avy (Rome Brooks) listens to Rudy’s (Rocco Nugent) apology. This scene was actually cut from the film and a montage was shot instead, using different shots of the actors without any dialog and set to music. It really works. The music montage moments in the film really help to give the audience a chance to take a break from all the dialog. Plus - the music is amazing.

Rudy (Rocco Nugent) is his purple Liz Claiborne robe - doing his best to explain to Avy why it’s his “duty” to stay. For some reason Rocco loved wearing that robe! Rocco would be on set all day - then put on the robe, do a couple lines then the day would be over. He would literally ait 11 hours to get into pajamas for 1/2 hour. Classic!

Here’s a fun moment in the kitchen right after Margo (Torrey DeVitto) arrives at the house — with Ronnie The Hitchhiker (Stephen Heath) en tow. This is a wide shot. The other camera is on the other side of the room to the left - getting the action from the opposite side - again, double coverage every shot. Also in the shot is Paige Howard, Brit Morgan and Rome Brooks.

This photo was taken on the first day of shooting. RAIN! No one expected it. That’s Torrey DeVitto and Mark Kiely (who play’s Eric D) in the car and the amazing camera crew (including DP Colin Brink) standing outside in the rain. The scene was supposed to be shot on a hot sunny summer day - but it was 60 degrees, raining and October. The scene actually ended up being cut from the movie because the sound of the rain drops hitting the roof of the car ended up being way to loud. The picture was taken from the Director’s iphone.

Here Avy (Rome Brooks) is being accused of deep dark things by Cal (Brit Morgan). This was during the food fight when all the secrets come out. The look on Avy’s face says it all. Two camera’s covered all the action of the foodfight at the same time. Twice the footage (coverage) without having to clean up the kitchen between takes. Cheesecake Casserole style. Boom!~
